After naming him one of the „5 Best Trade & Tax Law Experts to Watch 2022“ and one of the „5 Best International Criminal Law Experts to Watch 2022“ in September, the editors select him as one of the „5 Best Medical Lawyers to Watch 2022“ and one of the „5 Best Sports Lawyers to Watch 2022“ in November.

With our two partners, we are proud to have proven experts in tax, white collar, and medical criminal law, medical law, tax law, and sports law in our ranks and to be able to offer you this highly specialized expertise.

Since 2022-10-01 Mrs. Christina Heneka, LL.M. will strengthen our team. Mrs. Heneka is a specialist in medical law and has previously worked for many years for the medical liability claims department of a large insurance group as well as for a renowned medical law firm in Dusseldorf. We are very pleased to have gained such an experienced and highly qualified colleague.

Mr. Jan O. Schmieding is also expected to join us in the first quarter of 2023 with his knowledge and drive. Mr. Schmieding is currently still working with us as a legal trainee and research assistant and is also working with our partner Prof. Dr. Dr. Karsten Fehn as a research assistant at the Technical University of Cologne. He was therefore already able to familiarize himself with our firm and convince us of his professional quality. We are therefore pleased to have been able to recruit Mr. Schmieding at an early stage as a further reinforcement for our team for the period after his second state examination. Mr. Schmieding is also pursuing his doctorate in parallel to his work with us.
