In the field of anesthesiology, we are advised by Prof. Dr. med. Rolf Rossaint, specialist in anesthesiology, since 1997 Medical Director of the CLINIC FOR ANESTHESIOLOGY OF THE UNIVERSITY CLINIC<\/strong> of RWTH Aachen University and holder of the Chair of Anesthesiology there. From 2002 to 2004 he was Prorector of RWTH Aachen University and twice participated in the successful application of RWTH AACHEN for the status of a University of Excellence.<\/p>

Prof. Dr. med. Rolf Rossaint served as President of the DGAI – DEUTSCHEN GESELLSCHAFT F\u00dcR AN\u00c4STHESIOLOGIE UND INTENSIVMEDIZIN<\/strong> in 2019 to 2020 and has been a member of the NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES LEOPOLDINA<\/strong> since 2010. His clinical and scientific interests are in the field of pathophysiology and therapy of ARDS as well as sepsis, management of trauma-induced coagulopathy, and tele nerve emergency medicine. He leads the DFG-PRIORITY PROGRAMM TOWARDS AN IMPLANTABLE LUNG<\/strong>. His scientific activities result in > 800 publications. After working as a senior physician at the orthopaedic university hospitals in M\u00fcnster and Mainz, Prof. Dr. med. In the field of dentistry, Dr. med. dent. Peter Matovinovic acted as an advisor for us. Over the last 30 years, in addition to his dental work, he has held many professional political positions in dentistry in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and at the federal level. Among other things, he was deputy chairman of the Palatinate District Dental Association from 2007 to 2017 and chairman of the board of Kassenzahnaerztliche Vereinigung Rhineland-Palatinate (KZV RLP) from 2017 to the end of 2020.<\/p>

For almost 20 years, Dr. Peter Matovinovi\u0107 worked as a dental expert and speaker at expert conferences until he resigned from these positions when he was elected chairman of the board of KZV RLP. For the Kassenzahnaerztliche Bundesvereinigung (KZBV), he sat on subcommittees of the Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (G-BA) and on various committees of the KZBV. Dr Astrid Lueg is an internist with additional training in palliative medicine and nutritional medicine. She advises us in the areas of internal medicine, palliative medicine and GP care.<\/p>

Dr. Lueg has extensive clinical and outpatient experience. She has been working as a GP in internal medicine at the \u201cK\u00f6nig 33\u201d group practice in Br\u00fchl since 2006 – with a focus on palliative and nutritional medicine. At the same time, she took over the medical direction and management of the SAPV RheinErft GmbH palliative care team in 2012. Under her leadership, specialized outpatient palliative care was expanded to the Euskirchen (2019) and Bonn (2020) locations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
