About the person
Jan Ole Schmieding’s LEGAL STUDIES took him from his hometown of Troisdorf to Leipzig, where he majored in criminal law. During his studies he worked at the chair of criminal law, criminal procedure law, international criminal law, comparative criminal law and philosophy of law there. After completing his first STATE EXAM, he moved back to the Rhineland for his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Cologne. He joined FEHN Legal through his legal internship and has since worked as a SCIENTIFIC EMPLOYEE in the firm. He has been with us as a LAWYER since July 2023.
