On 27.04.2024, our partner Prof. Dr. Dr. Karsten Fehn was elected Good #Governance Commissioner by the Trakehner Verband e.V. delegates’ meeting. This is an exciting task that not only combines #sport, #law and economic issues, but also helps to protect the UNESCO-recognized immaterial cultural heritage “#Trakehner” and thus also all those who breed these unique horses with passion and heart and soul, present them in the various equestrian disciplines and preserve the historical heritage.

This is the second functionary position in equestrian sport for our firm, after our colleague Christina Heneka, LL.M. was recently elected as a judge at the racing court of the German #Galopp e.V..

Nota bene: Taking on the role of Good Governance Officer shows that sport and profession can not only be combined, but that one sometimes leads to the other. Prof. Dr. Dr. Karsten Fehn is a passionate and successful dressage rider himself with “Polarkaiser” (16-year-old gelding by Kaiserdom x Tenor) (trainer & instructor: Christian Reisch 🇦🇹; Stable: Kamberger Hof, Neuss, Trakehner breeding Dr. Astrid Müller).
